At age 7 Juli joined the United States Pony Clubs, where her passion for eventing began. Her first competition pony, Shorty is who she learned to jump on and she rode him unitl she was eleven years old.

The next horse she competed, and who helped her to develop her passion for eventing, was a horse she called Ri, a grey Irish sporthorse. This horse inspired her to begin another novel in January of 2005. See "Juli's Next Novel" on the navigation panel.

At 11 years old she began training a foal that was born on her farm--Promise. He is currently a 5 year old.


















His half sister, Pye, also born and raised on Juli's farm, is an Oldenberg/Swedish Warmblood mare. She is also one of Juli's competition horses.











Fling is her Preliminary level event horse shown above. She began riding him in the fall of 2005. He is a thoroughbred gelding.



Juli's most recent project is a young Thoroughbred gelding named Older and Wiser, an ex-race horse. She calls him Liam. He is an upcoming eventer as well. Ironically, he is related to Fling through Native Dancer and Northern Dancer, two very famous race horses.
